I wanted to be a photographer at art college but discovered ideas in general were more my thing. I was lucky enough to attend a lecture by the late Terence Donovan. One of a kind of photography rat pack including David Bailey and Norman Parkinson all shooting fashion in the super exciting 1960s with future top models, not a bad life. I’ve commissioned and worked with many top photographers including Max Forsyth, Nadav Kander and Jack Bankhead. I once came close to hiring Bob Carlos Clarke but it didn’t happen then he moved on:( My style is reportage, observational and spontaneous with very little retouching if at all. I’m always striving to make or capture something unique and intriguing.
